Thank you all for the kind words.
Yes we have a priest our friend Fay is going to be conducting the ceremony... Yes i agree falls is nice but... Sledge has an amazing long runway for us and a spot for the band and its just perfect.
As regards to armor... We realise some have many expensive set and thus we shall be relaxing the dye rules if you Can go pink please do simply get the cheapest collectors armor like the lowest level stuff and what on some pink dye.
If you can't afford it dont worry just come as you are.

Well I can be one of your flute playing rangers as well on Port Sledge if you still need more. I wonder, does the dress code permit Yule Caps?

This reminds me of conqueronline.com which my brother plays and somethign I stopped playing after Guild Wars came out.
The only reason why people marry you (other than being your real life spouse beforeyou start playing) is to scam your items, since both parties get access to the same house. The way to circumvent that was to make a female character and marry yourself (which is something I did, for my Healer ).
In that game, there WAS a "real life" funeral for multiple people (moderators of the forum) ingame. That was because someone died in a car accident (I don't remember I think that is what it was).

I think I've heard about that one...wasn't that the one where some horde guys ganked the funeral party and took'em all out?

Alliance ganked the (mostly) Horde players, and to be honest, it was AWESOME.

I suggest that you invite whoever wants to attend as a guest to your guild and host the wedding in the guild hall. Because there will be bystanders that will say all kinds of offensive things in chat, as happened at some other wedding.

I’m lost... You’re getting married in a game? That’s between your characters and not you in RL?… So... it’s like an E-Marriage?

It's not in real life Lateralus. I suppose you can call it an E-Marriage.

I find this odd yet interesting. E-marriage, that's pretty hilarious but it's over online, so no harm done. Just fun and games. It isn't like anything in real life wedding or something. Hey, that's what online games are for right? Can't do it in the real world, so why not do it in the digital world? If my fiancee ever finds out that I am having an affair and getting e-married with someone on Guild Wars she'll kill me, LOL
Congrats you two soon to be newlyweds!

referring to intial post: No clue if you've got one.. I could fit into a mesmer (got a female) violin player spot. I've got the CE glow & pink collector's armor just for the event (or black 15k noble) Anywho, if the glow is too much then its all good can't wait to see how big this turnout is, it'll be awesome just to be there

I actually performed a Wedding in Maguma Stade, it has all those bench seating and it's in the jungle. It was very nice. Of course my Monk performed the service.

I'll be there with my Female Monk, armor dyed pink just for this occasion.
Yes, that is also a hint that if you have a bridesmaid spot open still I would be rather interested ^_^
